Lactobacillus brevis HN001 helps baby escape from eczema
Itching... How many nights, the baby can't sleep because of eczema! Mothers don't apply medicine, worry that their children can't sleep well, sleep is affected; they are afraid of hormones, and they are not good for children. The most important thing is that when eczema is repeated, when is it a head? Bedley Probiotic Powder invited Professor Wang Baoxi, director of the Department of Pediatrics of the Second Affiliated Hospital of the Air Force Military Medical University, to support allergic babies.
Professor Wang combined with Bedley probiotic powder containing Lactobacillus rhamnosus HN001 to improve immunity, pointed out that to resist eczema also need to start from improving immunity, maternal health and nutrition during pregnancy is essential for fetal development, mother's health It also plays a very important positive role in infant intestinal flora and immune health.
The first exposure of the baby to the bacterial environment is through its mother, which is the primary source of infant intestinal flora. Before the age of 3, the infant nutrition program (whether breastfeeding or formula feeding) provides further support for infant gut flora growth. At this stage, infant intestinal flora development helps to promote the development of the immune system. During this period, such as the destruction of intestinal flora development, has been confirmed to be associated with the occurrence of allergies and eczema. At present, the prevalence of global eczema and allergies is increasing.
A double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trial to test the efficacy of Lactobacillus rhamnosus HN001 on the prevalence of eczema and allergic sensitization. Overall, 316 mothers and their infants were divided into a placebo group (n=159) and a probiotic group (n=157). Breast-fed mothers take probiotics daily from 5 weeks before delivery to 6 months after delivery. The baby also supplements the probiotics to 2 years of age by dissolving the probiotic powder in milk or sprinkling it on baby food. At the ages of 2, 4, and 6 years, clinical diagnosis and skin single prick test were used to test the prevalence of eczema and allergic sensitization.
The results of the trial showed that the prevalence of eczema accumulation was significantly reduced at the age of 2 in the experimental group supplemented with Lactobacillus rhamnosus HN001® probiotics. According to clinical diagnostic criteria, the prevalence of eczema decreased by 49% at 2 years of age (p=0.01). More importantly, the effect of reducing the prevalence of eczema by Lactobacillus rhamnosus HN001® can continue to 6 years of age and accumulate disease. The rate was 44% lower (p=0.01). A 6-year follow-up trial found that supplementation with Lactobacillus rhamnosus HN001® reduced the prevalence of the skin single puncture test by 31% (p=0.04). Also, the relative risk of allergic rhinitis conjunctivitis (rhinitis and red eye) was reduced by 62% in the probiotic group at 4 years of age (p=0.01).
